Abstract1   2017년 11월 15일 경상북도 포항시 북구 북쪽 8km 지역에서 진원깊이 7km, 규모 ML5.4의 지진이 발생하였다. 포항지진에 의한 건축물의 피해는 주로 학교, 필로티 등에서 발생하였는데, 그중에서도 필로티 건축물의 피해가 다수 발생하였다. 이는 필로티 건축물이 집중되어 있는 지역이 진앙거리가 가까운 곳에 위치하였고, 필로티 건축물의 내진성능이 일반건축물과 비교하여 탁월하지 않기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 포항지진 발생 직후 조사하였던, 131개동에 대한 필로티 건축물의 피해조사 결과와 피해사례를 통한 피해원인 분석 결과를 기술하였다. 또한 포항지진파 분석을 통한 피해원인 분석을 진행하였다.
Abstract2   On November 15, 2017, an earthquake(ML5.4) occurred in Pohang. Pohang earthquake was the second largest earthquake since earthquake was observed in Korea, but structural damage caused by earthquake was biggest. Structural damage caused by Pohang earthquake was mainly caused by schools and pilotis, above all damage to pilotis was outstanding. This is because area where pilotis structures are concentrated is located near epicenter, and seismic performance of pilotis structures is not excellent compared with general structures. In this study, described results of damage investigation and analysis of damage causes through analysis of pilotis Structures on 131 buildings that were investigated immediately after Pohang earthquake. In addition, cause of damage was analyzed through analysis of seismic wave. Investigation site was selected to Jangseong-dong, where damage occurred in large numbers. Damage level was classified into A, B, and C level by measuring residual crack width and story drift of structural members.
